Our original offsite teambuilding programs provide dynamic experiences for the entire group. Freda B is the perfect nautical experience for any organization. From interactive and hands-on sailing to pleasure cruising, we have it all.

TEAMBUILDING, OFF-SITES & ADVENTURES ON THE FREDA B

These sails are custom built for each group, which allows guests to learn at their own pace. Participation is always voluntary and never mandatory. We are enthusiastic about sharing our knowledge of maritime navigation, marine radio communication, helm time, sail raising and more.

We also offer interpretive sails around the Bay with professional guides versed in local history and ecology. All of the food and drinks are chosen by you, from our variety of great menu options. More elaborate, all-day events include Angel Island BBQ’s and Lobster Boils, while another all-star favorite is a company Giants Games in McCovey Cove.  Or just have a fun and relaxing sail for your group to enjoy each other’s company.

Aboard the Schooner Freda B, we are able to offer a light or structured teambuilding on the basics of sailing (navigation, helm time, raising sails, etc), a local history tour with guide, a Bay Area ecology with a naturalist or just a fun and relaxing cruise in which your group mingles and enjoys each other’s company. There is no additional fee for any of these enhancements.

Whether your team is from the area, recent transplants, or a mix, they’ll love the unique views of popular landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, Alcatraz Island, Crissy Field, Fort Mason, Fisherman’s Wharf, Coit Tower, the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate National Recreation Area and Mount Tamalpais.
