Sailing aboard the Schooner Freda B to Angel Island State Park, the largest island in the San Francisco Bay, offers amazing vistas of the entire Bay Area. With great trails, historical buildings and diverse recreational opportunities readily available, the island is truly a hidden gem in the midst of the urban landscape.
Angel Island is known for its warm, safe harbor, Ayala Cove. The cove and much of the east side of the island share the mild, sunny weather of central Marin County.
Sailing aboard the Schooner Freda B to Angel Island is one of our most renowned events. We offer all-day activities, the perfect choice for corporate retreats, special parties or an important celebration. We have a variety of itineraries to choose from, including our Lobster Boil Menu, Angel Island Paella Menu or the traditional BBQ.
Check out our gallery of some great, past events.
Our most popular option is definitively our Angel Island East Coast Lobster Boil; no forks necessary – eat with your hands and wash it down with crisp California wines or a cold, craft beer. Take a hike, nap on the lawn in the sun or play ball with your friends and colleagues, then finish it all off with a slow, relaxing sail homeward!
Freda B’s Island events are available for private charter only. Prices are all-inclusive: vessel rental, captain, crew, hospitality staff, food, beverage, admission to the park.
Per person prices vary from $225 – $295 per person | 28-32 guest minimum
From the top of Angel Island, there is a 360-degree view of the bay area including the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, the Richmond Bridge, the city skyline and Mount Tamalpais. The hike around the island is about 2-hours.
We look forward to sailing to Angel Island with you…
